Collections Advisor

  Our client is seeking a Collections Advisor who will be responsible for contacting customers who are struggling with repayments on their loans. The focus within this role is on customer service and quality of communications, targets are focused only on quality, rather than financial recovery. Due to this, we are looking for candidates with excellent customer service experience. Ideally, this will involve telephone experience but candidates with face to face only will not be discounted. Being able to demonstrate instances where complaints or difficult conversations have been handled in previous roles will be highly advantageous. Full training will be offered in this role. This will include classroom based learning, before being coached in the working environment. Live calls will not be experienced until the team manager is comfortable that the person is ready. Communication skills are at the forefront of this role. Candidates must have the confidence to ask more questions, and gather as much information as possible, sometimes under pressure from the customer. Candidates are to have a really good communication style, as they will be dealing with and at times investigating people who have missed repayments on their car loans. They need to be calm, reassuring and measured and need to have the intelligence to ask the right questions and record and report on this information when they have gathered it. Hours: Alternating late and early shifts as below. 1 in 4 Saturday mornings Early: Mon to Fri 08:30 - 16:45 Late: Mon to Fri 09:45 - 18:00 45 mins for lunch Candidates will be subject to a credit check if offered a position. 12 month contract Must be available for interview Friday 10th March 2017.
