||Reporting to the Sales Team Leader, the role holder will manage their customers’ portfolio, responsible for maximising sales opportunities including ancillary products and generating orders through service, pro-actively identifying renewals and converting to orders with the view to increase profit. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal / external customers and suppliers whilst leveraging to ensure optimisation of sales and service.
There will be high call volume, need for accuracy, fast working, and great communication skills - written and verbal.
There will be excel tests as part of the process for verbal reasoning and numeracy.
Qualifications and Experience:
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
Ability to work under pressure and multitask
High attention to detail and accuracy
Self- motivated, organised and confident in taking the lead where required
Sales through service attitude with proficient telephony skills
Able to self- manage and identify escalation points
Ability to interact with a variety of people/departments at different levels
Capable of positive negotiation
Ability to accurately handle and understand numerical data for quote to order process and reporting purposes
Desire to expand commercial awareness
Ability to work with a variety of people
Previous experience in Internal Sales and or Customer Service role is essential
Shifts: 08:00 - 16:15, 08:30 - 16:45, 09:45 - 18:00 but need to be flexible as the team tends to swap shifts with each other when necessary.
Contract initially until end of December 2017
