  Our client, a leading global player in the housewares sector based in Farnborough, is recruiting for a Digital Business Manager reporting to the Head of National Accounts. JOB PURPOSE: Delivery of annual sales, profit and digital product merchandising objectives across key online partners and market places, specifically Amazon.co.uk JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Develop, distribute and maintain digital sales support and merchandising assets such as product descriptions, product videos/ photography, lifestyle imagery and technical descriptions for use on Amazon and other customer sites. 2. Improve and manage brand and product presence on customer sites. Develop, implement and maintain product and brand presentation guidelines and merchandising processes. 3. Develop and implement on-line audit process to ensure all sites, especially major retailer sites, that use the company's owned trademarks are doing so within their specified guidelines. 4. Develop and share digital merchandising processes and best practises and share learnings with colleagues across key countries. 5. Help shape the internal development of digital product marketing and identify future marketing trends and opportunities for B2C audience growth, including utilising Search Engine Marketing, Optimisation, and other emerging platforms to maximise conversions. Amazon specific; 6. Develop Amazon channel standards and checklists to ensure consistency and scalability. 7. Manage day-to-day channel related administration such as catalogue updates, variation requests, cost updates, copy changes, submitting cases, etc. 8. Perform keyword research and establish product meta data/schema for general search engine optimisation. Keep abreast of latest trends, both in and outside of the industry. 9. Implement Amazon marketing campaigns across brand portfolio, to drive brand and product rankings and impressions. 10. Track effectiveness of individual marketing tasks to deliver the greatest impact to rankings and conversions. Use AMZ Tracker to monitor individual SKU performance and ROI and report findings. 11. Champion review generation and other strategic activities that directly influence purchasing decisions and conversion rates on Amazon.com and their key on-line retailers. 12. Monitor Amazons sales & stock holding position and maintain a 12-month rolling sales forecast, on a monthly basis, to meet demand. BACKGROUND, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience managing Amazon for a consumer goods or durable products business. Full knowledge and understanding of KPIís and business drivers within the Amazon digital world. Thorough understanding of the on-line market place and the consumerís path to purchase. Demonstrated ability to drive on-line sales & build brand presence through strong product marketing. Highly numerate and able to use numbers effectively both internally in managing the business and externally in negotiating. Demonstrated business growth within online / market places managed during development. Presentation and interpersonal skills of the highest standards. Ability to adapt to an environment where there are few people working in a close-knit team, where sometimes resources are scarce and where a hands-on approach to the business is a pre-requisite for success. Potential to grow within the job and, as the business grows further, to take on added responsibilities. Project Management experience (set up).
