||Our high profile client is seeking an Employee Communications Advisor to join the organisation for a 5 month assignment.
Due to the nature of the business you will be required to go through a full security clearance so start date would be subject to this approval.
Contribute towards the generation and implementation of the employee communication strategy for Technical Services.
Help provide effective and efficient creation and co-ordination of business area and project employee communication and engagement strategies and plans, ensuring they are aligned, conflicts are resolved and priorities are identified and agreed.
Act as an in-house consultant to advise key communicators across Technical Services, helping to inform their decision making and enhance their communication capabilities.
Support and/or manage employee communication requirements for specific projects and business areas, as directed by the Employee Communications Consultant.
Work closely with other members of the communications team to ensure that messages and activities are aligned and opportunities shared.
Support the corporate communications team in delivering a timely response in the event of an incident by providing employee communications support or by fulfilling whichever role is appropriate at the time.
Ensure the clients brand is implemented correctly and consistently across employee communications channels and materials
Support and co-ordinate cross-discipline campaigns on behalf of the communications team
Support the development and publication of communications content across a variety of communications channel, including the intranet.

Some experience in employee communications
A highly personable character with well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to overcome resistance
Intrinsically aware of potential newsworthy or contentious issues
A self-starter with the energy and organisational skills to develop and manage multiple projects with multiple stakeholders and changing agendas
Excellent communication, writing and editing skills
Some knowledge and experience of working with a range of related suppliers and agencies, for example designers and print agencies
Knowledge and experience of using Sharepoint an advantage
GCSEs (or equivalent to Grade C or above to include English Language)
NVQ or HNC qualification desirable
