Marketing Communications graduate

  The Marketing Communications graduate is a member of the Marketing Team and is responsible for supporting the Head of Marketing, Brand Managers and Trade Marketing Managers in planning, conducting and evaluating marketing and event initiatives to successfully promote the clients product portfolio. The Marketing graduate has responsibility for the successful execution of approved marketing plans and through this, the achievement of sales and market share goals. They will support in managing the weekly communication for all head office and field based associates through the internal sharepoint site. Working with the Brand Managers & Trade Marketing team to update all colleagues on the campaign resources, KPIs and performance trackers. Job description: Support in the development and internal review of promotional and point of sale material for the product portfolio as directed by the brand & trade marketing team with internal and external stakeholders. Help develop weekly sales communications through working with brand, trade & sales management. Manage and update content on internal sharepoint site and produce weekly e-newsletter. Manage development of bespoke customer materials through liaising with customer, sales & brand team and external creative agency. Execution of tactical plans and communication of plans to sales staff via sales meetings, department meetings and via written and verbal communication such as email and telephone calls. Develop and assist in promotions at various trade shows, professional speaking events and customer training programs. Participation in local and national conferences in order to gain insight from customer, competitive insight and execution of marketing requirements. Assist Brand Managers with development, collation & tracking of consumer campaigns. Assist in implementation and management of trade media and communications plan. Preparation of advertising, supporting customer specific promotions where necessary. Own maintenance of promotional material including driving annual reviews and obsolescence of retired material. Management of the day to day activities of the product portfolio including efficient and effective response to internal and external customer needs and to the needs of suppliers. Ideally suit a marketing graduate with approximately 12 months working experience. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills would be desirable as well as a Good understanding of digital and social media. Demonstrated ability to exhibit a high-level customer service orientation is advantageous. Proven working experience using spreadsheets & databases.
